The Livelihood Improvement Family Enterprises for Niger Delta (LIFE-ND) Project proudly joins the global community in celebrating the International Year of the Woman Farmer (IYWF).

Across the nine participating states of the Niger Delta, women farmers are at the heart of rural transformation—driving agricultural production, strengthening household livelihoods, creating jobs, and contributing to food and nutrition security.

Through the LIFE-ND Project, women are being supported with opportunities to build sustainable agribusinesses, access Business Development Services, strengthen their entrepreneurial skills, adopt improved technologies, and participate more meaningfully in agricultural value chains.

From our State Project Coordination Offices across the Niger Delta, we celebrate the resilience, innovation, enterprise, and leadership of women farmers who continue to transform agriculture and their communities.

The woman farmer is not just a beneficiary of agricultural development, she drives it.

LIFE-ND remains committed to creating an enabling environment where women can access the knowledge, resources, markets, technologies, and opportunities they need to build resilient and profitable enterprises.

Today, we celebrate every woman farmer whose hands feed families, strengthen communities, and contribute to a more prosperous Niger Delta.

Happy International Year of the Woman Farmer!!!!!!!
