The LIFE-ND project primarily targets 38,250 (IFAD – 25,500 + NDDC – 12,750) unemployed and underemployed youth and women beneficiaries as Incubatees (trainees) that will come out of the Incubation System with their own profitable enterprises in which 70% (26,775) are smallholder farmers and 30% (11,475) are processors/marketers, and eventually serve as Incubators themselves. It will also target about 900 (IFAD – 600 + NDDC – 300) established and potential enterprise Incubators as a pathway for job creation and economic empowerment of the beneficiaries.
