LIFE-ND NATIONAL PROJECT COORDINATOR ON MISSION SUPPORT TO ONDO SPCO
The National Project Coordinator, LIFE-ND, Engr. (Dr.) Abiodun Sanni arrived on the 13th April, 2024 on a support mission to Ondo SPCO. Accompanied by his Technical assistant, Mr. Bunmi Ogunleye and a team of consultants.
His itinerary in the state is as follows:
Consultative Meeting with SPCO Staff
The NPC held a crucial meeting with the SPCO staff on Sunday, 14th March, 2024 iterating the need for effectiveness and synergy to achieve project goals.
Field visit to Project communities
A Three (3) days inspection tour of infrastructure sites was carried out from Sunday, 14th to Tuesday 16th April, 2024. The NPC visited the following facilities:
Cassava Processing Mill at Mahintedo community, Ilaje LGA
The NPC inspected the equipment installed at the centre. He also met with the community leaders of Mahintedo Land for the utilization and the sustainability of facilities in their domain.
Poultry cluster being constructed at Bamikemo Jegun community, Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo LGA
Poultry cluster constructed at Supare community, Akoko South West LGA
At this centre, the NPC interfaced with the Incubatees and ordered them to put the facility in their community to immediate use.
Fishery cluster constructed at Okusa community, Akoko South West LGA
25 Ha cassava farm established by LIFE-ND at Gedegede community, Akoko North West LGA
Cassava Processing Mill and equipment at Gedegede Community.
