LIFE-ND has recorded a couple of result-focused deliverables during implementation. The following key achievements, among others, have been recorded:
Promotion of the Public/Private/Producers Partnership (4Ps): The LIFE-ND has continued to facilitate farmer producers’ engagement with the government and private sector on policy dialogue and business transactions. Through this effort and employing the 4Ps model, the project has continued holding meetings and discussions with stakeholders for the establishment of the CAF or alternative body to perform similar functions.;
69.09km earth roads, 2 small bridges, 34 culverts and 2 jetties constructed- The LIFE-ND project has help in facilitating food supply and market access.
Secured 6,500 ha of farmland and developed 860 ha for the landless women and youth farmers.
22 mini poultry production cluster facilities, completed, supplying pouty products to the market and enhancing households’ nutrition/food security.
21 processing clusters established in commodities.
7 fishery production cluster completed, enhancing household income, nutrition and food security.
92 earthen ponds with a capacity of 184,000 fish rehabilitated and put into use.
511 synthetic fish ponds for 250 incubates.
14 market stalls comprising 140 stores established
